We begin our season with Haydn’s joyous, picturesque, and highly dramatic depiction of the creation of the world. Featuring Summer Rae Kuhns, soprano and Luke Honeck, tenor, along with special guest, renowned American baritone Richard Zeller. Mr. Zeller performed a number of times with us in Anchorage near the beginning of his singing career, and we are honored to share the stage with him again now that he has built a phenomenal career performing with many of the world’s greatest orchestras, opera companies, and conductors. Don’t miss this epic choral masterwork!

We are pleased to once again share the holiday stage with our good friend, harpist Megan Bledsoe Ward. Kick off your holiday season with the joyful voices of Alaska Chamber Singers as we present our ever-popular annual feast of seasonal works, both unique and traditional. Ms. Bledsoe Ward will be featured in such works as Grant Cochran’s gorgeous Mother’s Lullaby, selections from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, and Gabriel Fauré’s lush Cantique de Jean Racine. Other works by Fauré will also be featured in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death. As usual, we promise to sing some of your favorite carols, as well as a piece or two you probably haven’t heard before. There will be something for everyone!
